(Adnkronos) – The war in Iran, which began on February 28, has so far cost the United States 25 billion dollars. This was stated during a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee by the interim Undersecretary of War, Jules Hurst III, responsible for finance, specifying that most of the expenses were for ammunition, but the army also spent money on managing operations and replacing equipment. “We will formulate a budget supplement through the White House that will be presented to Congress once we have a complete assessment of the cost of the conflict,” Hurst added.
