(Adnkronos) – About 80 demonstrators gathered outside the Yale Shabtai Jewish society headquarters to protest the presence of Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir. The protesters condemned Shabtai’s decision to host the far-right minister.
Ben Gvir’s office said pro-Palestinian protesters tried to attack the minister as he was leaving after giving a lecture at the university, throwing water bottles at him. According to the statement, the politician was not injured.
