(Adnkronos) – The conflict in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo has caused the death of “more than 7,000 nationals” since January, many of them civilians. This was denounced from Geneva by Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka.
“We have not yet been able to identify all of these people, and it is now very easy to say that these deaths are only military, when in fact there are a large number of civilians among them”, she said in a briefing with the press on the sidelines of the Human Rights Council.
