(Adnkronos) – Istanbul police arrested at least 50 people during Pride, including four lawyers, who are expected to appear in court today, according to a post on X by the Turkish lawyers’ association Chd.
The association also denounced the use of force by the police against the activists, who had planned to participate in yesterday’s LGBTQ pride parade, despite the ban in force for years in Turkey.
