(Adnkronos) – International flights from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Airport will resume tomorrow, a few days after the reopening of Iranian airspace. This was reported by the Iranian news agency Isna. The first flights to resume will be those to Istanbul and Muscat. Iranian airspace was closed due to the war between the United States and Israel, which began on February 28, and is being gradually reopened during the ceasefire. Last week, authorities announced the reopening of Mashhad Airport, which serves the country’s second-largest city, located in the far northeast. Tracking data shows at least two international flights departing from the airport, bound for Turkey and Oman respectively.
