Syria, UN Security Council emergency meeting tomorrow

(Adnkronos) – The UN Security Council will meet tomorrow for an emergency meeting on Syria after some armed factions launched an offensive, taking control of large areas of the north, including the city of Aleppo. Diplomatic sources told AFP that the meeting was requested by the Syrian government and supported by the three African member countries of the Security Council (Mozambique, Sierra Leone and Algeria) plus Guyana.
