(Adnkronos) – French President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged “shortcomings in forecasting and intelligence” but rejected his Interior Minister’s resignation. The Elysée announced this. “To put an end to the phenomena of barricades and looting, Macron also asked the Interior Minister to implement new modes of action for internal security forces on the ground as soon as possible in the fight against hooligans,” the French presidency added.
