(Adnkronos) – A Ukrainian citizen has been arrested by Polish authorities investigating last week’s Russian railway sabotage. Polish prosecutors announced that the man participated with the two main suspects in preparing the attack. The man, identified by Polish authorities as Volodymyr B., was arrested on Thursday and indicted over the weekend, as the prosecutor’s office explained in a statement. According to the reconstruction, in September the man allegedly accompanied one of the two suspects to the area of the railway tracks leading to Ukraine, helping him scout the location before the attack.
Polish authorities had previously identified two Ukrainian citizens, allegedly serving Russian intelligence services, as the main suspects in two cases of railway sabotage. Reportedly, the two had arrived in Poland from Belarus and left immediately after placing explosive devices on the railway tracks.
