South Korea, presidential elections set for June 3

(Adnkronos) – The South Korean government has set June 3 as the date for the next presidential elections. This was reported by the Yonhap News agency, citing a government official. The vote was decided after South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol was removed from office after imposing martial law on December 3. The official announcement of the presidential elections is expected from South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
