(Adnkronos) – “In Damascus I met with the new Syrian political leader, Ahmed al Sharaa. From today we are starting a new course of political, diplomatic and friendship relations between Italy and Syria. This was stated in a post on X by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, with a photo of the handshake in Damascus with al Sharaa.
