(Adnkronos) – The EU Council renewed in Luxembourg the EU’s autonomous restrictive measures against Isil/Da’esh and Al-Qaeda and persons, groups, undertakings and entities associated with the two terrorist organizations, extending them until October 31, 2026. The list includes 15 individuals and 7 groups. All ‘listed’ entities are subject to asset freezes, while individuals are also subject to a travel ban to the EU. Furthermore, EU persons and entities are prohibited from making funds, financial assets or economic resources available to them. The restrictive measures are complementary to those imposed by the United Nations Security Council against Isil/Da’esh and Al-Qaeda.
