(Adnkronos) – Sébastien Lecornu initiated consultations this morning with French political parties, the last ones, “for the stability of the country,” as requested by President Emmanuel Macron. The acting and resigning prime minister himself announced this. “I proposed focusing on two priorities,” he writes on X – “which are imperative for the entire political class” – the adoption of the budget and the institutional future of New Caledonia. “I will carry out these consultations between this afternoon and tomorrow morning,” he finally announced.
