(Adnkronos) – In a clear attempt to ridicule and delegitimize his predecessor, Donald Trump replaces Joe Biden’s portrait with a photo of the infamous autopen that signs his name in the “Presidential Walk of Fame” that he himself established in the outer colonnade of the White House, with the images of all the presidents, except one.
That of the autopen, the automatic signature system that all presidents use to sign some documents, is a real obsession of Trump’s to demonstrate that his predecessor, whom he has never considered legitimately elected due to “cognitive decline”, did not have control of his executive decisions, as he suggested in June when he called for an investigation into Biden’s use of the autopen.
