Israel, government approves Ben Gvir’s return as National Security Minister

(Adnkronos) – The Israeli government approved the return of Itamar Ben Gvir to the post of National Security Minister overnight. This was indicated in a press release from the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 

“The government unanimously approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s proposal to reappoint MP Itamar Ben Gvir as National Security Minister,” the text reads. Ben Gvir resigned from his post on January 19, disagreeing with the truce decision with Hamas which he called “outrageous”.
