(Adnkronos) – Palestinian runner Allam al-Amour was killed this morning by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) near a Ghf aid distribution center in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Family sources quoted by the Anadolu news agency and medical sources at Cairo News Channel report this, according to which the athlete was hit by a bullet and died instantly in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. The 22-year-old was carrying his sports card.
In 2023, middle-distance runner Allam al-Amour won the bronze medal in the Under 20 3000 meters at the first edition of the West Asian Athletics Championships held in Doha, representing Palestine.
