UK, plane crash in Southend, 4 dead on board

(Adnkronos) – The two crew members and two passengers of the small plane that crashed yesterday shortly after takeoff at Southend Airport, south of London, turning into a “ball of fire”, have died. Airport authorities announced this today, explaining that the airport “will remain closed until further notice due to the serious incident”. The flight was bound for Lelystad in the Netherlands and came from Pula in Croatia. 

Zeusch Aviation, based at Lelystad Airport in the Netherlands, confirmed that its flight SUZ1 was “involved in an incident” at the airport and that its thoughts are with “all those who were involved”.
