Rome to host Italy-Mongolia business forum

(Adnkronos) – The foreign ministry and foreign trade agency ICE are holding an Italy-Mongolia business forum in Rome Tuesday as part of drive to diversify markets and forge bilateral partnerships in raft of areas from textiles to infrastructure, renewables and transport, the ministry said in a statement. 

“The Forum is part of a growing interest in market diversification and the development of bilateral partnerships, particularly in the areas of textile production and trade, agri-food industry, infrastructure development, renewable energy and transport,” the statement said. 

Foreign minister Antonio Tajani and Mongolian counterpart Battsetseg Batmunkh, ICE president Matteo Zoppas, Mongolia’s National Chamber of Commerce secretary-general Bulgan Saruul, CEO and general manager of state investment agency Simest Regina Corradini D’Arienzo, state lender CDP’s head of international affairs Laruent Franciosi and state export credit agency Sace’s CEO Michele Pignotti, are slated to attend Tuesday’s forum, which is taking place at the Renaissance Villa Madama.  

Tajani and Batmunkh will take part in the forum’s closing session, which will be open to the press, according to the statement.
