(Adnkronos) – The Loiret prefecture announced today the ban on the rally planned for Sunday by the collective ‘Ciao fachos’, which was supposed to take place near the Co’Met arena, in the southern part of the city, where the National Rally congress will be held. For Sunday, in the entire urban area, any other demonstration will be prohibited from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The prefecture justified the decision by citing fears of public order disturbances.
Previously, the prefect of Loiret, Hugues Moutouh, had announced that “20 to 30 thousand people from all over France” were expected for Saturday during the mobilizations against the Rn congress. Among these, the prefect added, “2 to 3 thousand radical elements” were expected.
