(Adnkronos) – Several people were arrested at dawn during raids against firearms trafficking in Berlin. A police spokesperson announced this, adding that officers seized two firearms, including live ammunition, and specified that operations are still ongoing. The operation is linked to investigations targeting organized crime, according to police. A total of 300 officers, including special forces, were deployed in the German capital, the spokesperson said. The operation is aimed at several suspects, and officers are searching their homes.
