(Adnkronos) – Thirteen members of the Yemeni government forces were killed in clashes with Houthi fighters. A military source told AFP, accusing the group of launching an offensive to conquer areas located on the borders of the strategic Bab al-Mandab Strait. “According to an initial assessment, 13 government soldiers were killed, including two officers,” a source said. Another source reported that most of the victims were on the front lines between the port city of Mokha and the inland city of Taiz, while the others were killed in clashes near the Red Sea coast.
