London, April 30 (Jiji Press)–The dollar plunged below 156 yen in London foreign exchange trading Thursday, hitting its lowest levels since late February. Earlier in the day, Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama and Vice Finance Minister for International Affairs Atsushi Mimura told reporters that the country’s “decisive actions” against the recent rapid depreciation of the yen are just around the corner.
