(Adnkronos) – The trial has opened concerning the worst railway tragedy in Greece’s history, that of 2023 in Tempe, in which 57 people lost their lives, mostly young people between 15 and 25 years old. This was announced by Afp. Thirty-six people have been indicted and over 350 witnesses will be heard at the trial held in the city of Larissa, in central Greece, near the place where a freight train and a passenger train collided on February 28, 2023.
