Sudan: MSF, ‘after violent clashes 123 injured in new hospital without water and electricity’

17 Marzo 2026

(Adnkronos) – In Tina, Sudan, on the border with Chad, violent attacks continue. 123 injured people were admitted yesterday by the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) team and Chadian health authorities to a newly built hospital near the Sudanese border. 17 people died in the hospital and 66 arrived in serious condition. “This new hospital lacks everything. We treat patients without water or electricity, using a generator and solar panels,” says MSF medical staff, who fear new arrivals of injured people. “With the massive influx of patients, our medical supplies are running out and it is difficult to replenish them.”
