(Adnkronos) – The bodies of 84 Iranian sailors recovered off the coast of Sri Lanka after their frigate was torpedoed by a US submarine on March 4 will be repatriated today. This was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo. “All necessary procedures on site have been completed and the bodies will be transported on a special plane for repatriation,” the ministry spokesman, Tushara Rodrigo, told AFP, adding that another 32 surviving sailors remain in Sri Lanka.
