(Adnkronos) – The European Parliament today voted in Strasbourg for the creation of the EU Talent Pool, a digital platform that should facilitate the recruitment of third-country nationals to work in the EU, with 414 votes in favour, 182 against and 21 abstentions. This digital platform, the Parliament informs, should facilitate the recruitment of people from third countries to work in the Member States and will be open to the participation of Member States, which will be voluntary.
Job offers that fall within the list of professions in short supply at EU level, with possible national and regional adjustments, and those that contribute to improving the EU’s competitiveness, will be matched with job seekers from third countries. The process will be free of charge for both job seekers and employers.
