(Adnkronos) – The Swedish prosecutor’s office has announced the opening of a sabotage investigation into damaged cables in the Baltic Sea, one of which connects Lithuania to Sweden and the other Finland to Germany.
“Sabotage is being investigated. The preliminary investigation is in its early stages, but ongoing. There is no further information to share at this time,” said prosecutor Henrik Soderman. A few hours earlier, Finland had announced the opening of a police investigation.
