(Adnkronos) – The President of the Israeli Electoral Commission, who is also the Vice President of the Supreme Court, Noam Sohlberg, is expected by President Isaac Herzog for the delivery of the official results of the elections held on October 27. The delivery, together with the publication in the Official Gazette, constitutes the certification of the result that the Likud had asked to postpone until the conclusion of the investigation, by Shin Bet and Mossad, into any interference from Qatar, with the financing of a campaign to bring Arab voters to the polls. Herzog will begin his talks, unlike what is usually done, with the smaller parties. At 5 PM (local time), he will speak with representatives of the Religious Zionist Party, then with those of Shas and Yisrael Beytenu. The other parties will meet the President tomorrow. The last to be summoned are Yashar of Gadi Eisenkot and then the Likud tomorrow evening.
