(Adnkronos) – US President Donald Trump has called Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Michigan, a “radical extremist,” while endorsing Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers. “Mohammed El-Sayed is a terrible candidate for the Democrats. While his opponent, Mike Rogers, is a great candidate, Mohammed dates back to the days of Jihad,” Trump wrote in a post on his Truth Social account, calling El-Sayed a “radical extremist, a sympathizer of terrorism, and no different from his best friend, Hasan Piker, who hates America,” referring to the left-wing political streamer.
“Mohammed’s values are not exactly those of the people of Michigan, nor those of our great United States of America!” Trump wrote, giving Rogers his “COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT” and stating that the Republican candidate “will never let you down.” El-Sayed, a physician and former health director for Wayne County, won the Democratic primary in August, defeating Representative Haley Stevens in a close contest.
