This was stated by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, speaking at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. ”We will not allow foreign and local enemies of democracy to undermine the will of the people”, Lula emphasized, explaining that ”Brazil’s sustainable development goals are under attack by reactionary forces”. But ”Brazil will continue to be a sovereign country, no one will divert us from this path”, Lula added, stating that ”dividing the world into neo-colonial spheres of influence is an anachronistic move”.
