(Adnkronos) – Just Russia, the party of the ‘systemic opposition’, meaning the fake opposition tolerated by the Kremlin which in fact always votes as requested in the lower house of Parliament, does not exceed the five percent electoral threshold.
According to still preliminary results, but based on the scrutiny of 94.95 percent of the ballots, the party would have taken only 4.96 percent of the votes in the party-list vote. While United Russia won 57.83 percent of the votes, the Communist Party 13.81 percent, the Liberal Democrats 8.97 percent, and ‘New People’ 7.06 percent, according to still preliminary but official results.
According to what was announced by the Rbc agency, United Russia candidates are leading in 209 out of 225 constituencies for seats distributed by the single-member system, the communists in 5, Just Russia in four – so it would still be represented in the Duma – the Liberal Democrats in two, Rodina one. Only four independent candidates might have made it.
