(Adnkronos) – 29% of Americans approve of Donald Trump’s performance as president, while 68% disapprove. This is what emerges from the latest American Research Group poll, conducted from September 16 to 20 among 1,100 adults in the United States, with a margin of error of 3 percentage points.
Compared to August, when 30% approved and 66% disapproved of Trump’s performance, approval therefore shows a slight decrease. The judgment on economic management is lower: 26% approve of the president’s work, compared to 71% who disapprove. In August, the figures were 28% and 69% respectively.
Among Americans who approve of Trump’s actions, 56% believe the national economy will worsen in the next twelve months. Among those who disapprove of the president, the share rises to 76%.
