(Adnkronos) – “I want to be clear, you have a strong and solid friend in the White House.” Thus Robert Kennedy assured his support for the ‘no-vax’ movement in his speech at the Children’s Health Defense conference, the association that propagates theories disproven by science about the alleged danger of vaccines, which the current Trump administration’s Health Minister presided over between 2015 and 2023.
In his hour-and-a-half speech, which American media highlighted, noting that the United States is currently facing its most severe measles epidemic since 1991, Kennedy urged no-vaxxers to be patient, stating that drastic changes cannot be made “in a day” but that the law must be followed to make permanent changes. “But as I said, you have friends in the White House, and we are working day by day,” he reiterated.
There was also a reference to the measles epidemic that caused four deaths in Pennsylvania: “in our country, we worry about rare diseases and deaths; every child who dies from measles makes headlines. I would ask you to worry about the children who are dying, suffering, or being harmed by vaccines.” “I have spent forty years fighting these battles, and I intend to keep fighting as long as I can,” Trump’s minister then concluded.
