(Adnkronos) – China has denied sharing satellite images with Iran of the American base in Jordan hit in a raid last July 17 that caused the death of three US soldiers. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun during a press conference, calling the accusations “groundless”. The Wall Street Journal had reported that Chinese entities had allegedly provided Tehran with images of the Muwaffaq Salti air base, which hosts US troops.
“We firmly oppose unfounded suspicions and accusations without evidence,” Guo declared.
