(Adnkronos) – Controversies continue in France regarding the pro-Putin pundit and former head of the Russian state channel Russia Today in France, Xenia Fedorova, returning on air. This was stated by French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez after Vincent Bolloré’s Cnews channel announced her return to video in France. CNews will risk “legal action” if the pro-Russian pundit Xenia Fedorova, who was subject to an expulsion order from French territory in July, returns on air, Laurent Nunez warned in a letter sent to the president of the French Communications Authority (Arcom), Martin Ajdari.
Fedorova is accused of manipulating “information and public debate” in France “for the benefit of the Russian Federation”.
