(Adnkronos) – Three weapons depots and a rocket launching position were destroyed yesterday in Israeli air strikes conducted throughout the Gaza Strip. This is what the Idf, the Israeli defense forces, report. According to the Israeli army, the weapons depots, belonging to the terrorist groups Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, were used to store dozens of weapons, including rockets and assault rifles. Recently, the Idf reports, some Hamas operatives were spotted reaching the weapons depots and using the weapons stored there to “monitor and establish control over the Gaza Strip”.
Furthermore, yesterday’s attacks also destroyed a rocket launching position which, during the war, had been used to launch missiles against Israel, the army states. The Idf emphasizes that it will continue “to act decisively to reduce the capabilities of terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip, while countering any attempt to rebuild such capabilities or to possess weapons intended to target our forces”.
