(Adnkronos) – Qatar is working with partners in the region and around the world, including China, to facilitate the resumption of talks between the United States and Iran. This is according to a spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, is currently leading a delegation visiting Beijing. During the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, Al-Thani reiterated “the State of Qatar’s full support for diplomatic efforts aimed at finding a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for achieving a comprehensive solution.”
