France, after strike against discrimination of female employees Eiffel Tower reopens

(Adnkronos) – The Eiffel Tower reopened this morning, after the employees’ strike the previous day, who were “shocked” by the exclusion of female employees during the visit of a Hindu religious group. This was reported by Agence France-Presse (Afp). Shortly before 9:30 AM (7:30 GMT), visitors were able to enter the monument. On the website of the company managing the Eiffel Tower, visited by 6.75 million people in 2025, it states that the monument is “open today”.
