(Adnkronos) – Alarm in Nepal over the collapse of a dam in Tibet. Nepalese authorities have issued a warning to citizens and rescuers ‘to move to higher ground’ after an upstream dam in Tibet reportedly collapsed, two days after a glacier detachment caused devastating floods. “We have received information about the new collapse of a water dam on the Tibetan side – the police stated in a press release – All law enforcement, rescuers, and the public involved in rescue and assistance operations are urged to remain alert and move immediately to a safe place.”
