Nepal, at least 165 dead and over 1,300 missing due to devastating floods

(Adnkronos) – Over 1,300 people are missing and at least 165 have been confirmed dead following floods and landslides on the border between Nepal and Tibet. The Nepalese emergency management agency reported this, specifying that the toll is still provisional and that foreigners would be involved. Hikers and mountaineers from all over the world flock to the Himalayan nation to test themselves on some of the world’s highest peaks, including Mount Everest.
