(Adnkronos) – Chinese President Xi Jinping received King Abdullah of Jordan in Beijing, with whom he discussed the Palestinian issue ”which is at the heart of the Middle East question”. An official account of the meeting transmitted by state media reported this.
During the talks with the Jordanian king, Xi called for a political solution to the crisis in the Middle East, the resumption of peace talks between Palestinians and Israel, and the “realization of Palestine as an independent state as soon as possible”.
