Tokyo, Aug. 17 (Jiji Press)–Japan’s gross domestic product in April-June grew 0.3 pct from the previous quarter after price and seasonal adjustments, the Cabinet Office said in a preliminary report Monday. The reading represents a 1.1 pct annualized rise. The annualized figure was far below the median estimate of 2.1 pct growth among 17 think tanks surveyed by Jiji Press.
