(Adnkronos) – The Ukrainian army launched a drone attack overnight against the Leningrad Oblast, Russia, damaging the port infrastructure of Ust-Luga. Regional governor Alexander Drozdenko reported this. Located west of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga is one of Russia’s largest ports on the Baltic Sea and hosts an oil terminal that serves as an important hub for the export of crude oil and petroleum products. Drozdenko stated that a fire was raging in the port following a massive drone attack on the region. Authorities said that 51 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Leningrad Oblast.
