Ukraine: media, ‘Russian missile attacks on Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, 10 injured’

(Adnkronos) – “10 people were injured due to explosions that shook Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia, following Russian ballistic missile attacks in Ukraine.” The English-language Ukrainian newspaper The Kyiv Independent reports this. “One person was injured in Kyiv, while nine others were injured in Zaporizhzhia,” it adds. 

Kyiv Independent journalists on the ground initially reported “loud explosions in the capital and the southern city of Zaporizhzhia around 00:30 (local time, ed.) on August 11, as Russia launched simultaneous attacks against both cities. At roughly the same time, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russian ballistic missiles were targeting Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv.”
