(Adnkronos) – In the last day, Russian attacks have caused at least nine deaths and 89 injuries across Ukraine. This was reported by the country’s regional authorities. Moscow’s forces struck the Dnipropetrovsk region almost 80 times, killing five people and injuring sixteen others. Governor Oleksandr Hanzha added that in its attacks, Russia used drones, artillery, guided aerial bombs, and missiles. In total, Russia launched 147 Shahed-type drones against Ukraine overnight, and air defense shot down 114 of them, according to the air force. The remaining 29 drones hit 15 locations, while debris from the downed drones fell in four other sites.
In the Kherson oblast, Russian forces targeted 39 settlements, including the regional capital of Kherson, killing one person and injuring 32 others, including a child, in the last 24 hours, according to the local military administration. In the Kharkiv oblast, Moscow killed two men and injured eleven others in the city of Lozova, while seven people were injured in other locations in the region, Governor Oleh Syniehubov stated. In Donetsk, the attacks caused one death in Bilenke and five injuries in other locations, Governor Vadym Filashkin stated. In the Zaporizhzhia region, ten people were injured; in the Sumy oblast, eight people were injured.
