(Adnkronos) – Floods and landslides caused by torrential monsoon rains have killed over 100 people in India since the beginning of July and forced thousands to leave their homes. According to a report published today, at least 87 people have died in the state of Assam, in the northeast of the country, which is among the most severely affected regions, according to the state’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.
