Iran, Qatar: efforts underway to revive negotiations

(Adnkronos) – Qatar, the mediating country, explained that efforts for a diplomatic solution to the conflict between Iran and the United States continue, but without direct talks planned between the two parties. “We can confirm that efforts are ongoing with all parties,” the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majed Al Ansari, told reporters, adding that the negotiations are focused on a “short-term agreement that would help us revive discussions and fully return to mediation efforts.”
