Ukraine, new raid against Wildberries, e-commerce giant seeks warehouses in Kazakhstan

29 Luglio 2026

(Adnkronos) – Kyiv strikes Wildberries in Russia again. Drones have bombed a warehouse of the e-commerce giant in Russia, in Ryazan. A large fire broke out in the partially collapsed structure. Wildberries stated in a press release that the Ryazan hub will not accept deliveries for the time being and that employees have been evacuated from the facility. Since July 18, Ukrainian forces have targeted the company’s logistics centers, hitting 10 warehouses in Russia (in the regions of Moscow, Tambov, Sverdlovsk, Krasnodar, Stavropol, Leningrad, Voronezh, Ryazan) and in occupied Crimea. For this reason, the Russian ‘Amazon’ is looking for warehouses totaling 100,000 square meters in Kazakhstan to protect part of its business from Ukrainian drones, as reported by Kommersant, citing various real estate sources for whom the request is for the urgent rental of any currently available space. Wildberries merely stated that, as in every other country where it operates, it is also building space for its logistics sites in Kazakhstan. In Almaty, a 100,000 square meter warehouse is being built, and in Astana, one of 160,000 square meters. In Russia, those with space to rent are unwilling to sign a contract with Wildberries, which is now considered a target for Ukrainian attacks. region and St. Petersburg, Voronezh,
