(Adnkronos) – Five security officers were killed in a shooting in southern Thailand, during which about ten armed and masked men opened fire on a roadblock on a road in Narathiwat province. Six civilians, including a 3-year-old and a 10-year-old child, were also injured in the attack. According to reports, the attackers were armed with military rifles and homemade bombs.
