(Adnkronos) – The U.S. State Department renews its warning to American travelers intending to visit the entire Middle East due to increased tensions and fighting with Iran. With a “worldwide alert” warning, the State Department advises American citizens currently in the Middle East to “exercise caution and increased vigilance” and to prepare for the possibility of flight cancellations and travel disruptions.
The Department also urges all Americans to reconsider any travel to the Middle East. It adds that “Iran and groups supporting it could target other U.S. interests abroad or in locations associated with the United States and Americans worldwide”.
