(Adnkronos) – Career diplomat Andreina Marsella has taken up her post as Italy’s new envoy to Lativa, the foreign ministry wrote Monday on X in a congratulatory note.
“Congratulations to Andreina Marsella, new Ambassador of Italy in Latvia,” read the post.
In an accompanying note, Marsella said she was beginng her posting “with the aim of further strengthening the already excellent relations between Italy and Latvia, Nato allies and European Union member states, hoping that in a particularly fluid international context, our work together will contribute to security and development”.
